Painting exclusively in black, I find I can push contrast, tones and light in ways that might look unnatural in color but feel cohesive in a monochromatic palette. This watercolour Snow Leopard was a combination of disciple and spontaneity in celebration of such a majestic species.
This ever-expanding watercolor collection of black-and-white photorealistic wildlife captures the raw beauty of nature with striking detail and expressive fluidity while the surrounding environment dissolves into a dreamlike, atmospheric wash. The interplay of deep shadows and soft highlights evokes a timeless, almost cinematic quality, making each piece feel both intimate and untamed.
